What does it cost?
Flat monthly pricing, based on your transaction volume and complexity. I'll give you an exact quote on the consultation call. No pressure, no obligation. Most of my small business clients land between $300–$1500/month. The first month is free, so you'll know exactly what you're getting before you pay anything.
What's the catch on the first month free?
There isn't one. I'll handle your first month of regular monthly bookkeeping at no cost - categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, and delivering your reports. If you don't see the value, walk away. Keep the work I did, no hard feelings.
(Note: if your books need a catch-up or cleanup before I can start ongoing work, that's quoted separately as a flat fee. I'll explain everything clearly on the call.)
What if I'm really far behind...like years?
That's my specialty, and I can guarantee we've seen worse. Years behind, missing transactions, miscategorized everything. I've cleaned up books that other bookkeepers wouldn't touch. Cleanup is quoted as a flat fee separately from monthly bookkeeping, so you'll know the exact cost upfront before any work starts. No judgment, just clean books.
How fast will you respond when I need something?
Fast. I aim to respond to texts and emails within a few hours during the day, and same-day on evenings and weekends. If something's urgent, just call. The clients I've worked with for years all say the same thing: I'm easier to reach than their old bookkeeper ever was.
Do you also do my taxes?
Nope, taxes aren't my thing. That's your CPA's job, and I work alongside them. What I do is keep your books so clean that when tax season rolls around, your CPA gets a tidy package of reports and reconciled accounts from me.
